An exploratory studio for the messy edge of art and construction.
ES.Studio is an exploratory studio. We use technology — code, sensors, fabrication — to investigate what art and design can be when they have to actually exist in the world. Every project is a test.
The practice is grounded in real-world design and construction experience. We start where the speculative ends: a budget, a site, a material, a date. The interesting work happens when those constraints stop being limits and start being authorship.
We pick a small number of clients each year and stay with them from sketch through handover. We work direct — no agencies, no layers between the people making and the people deciding.

Four ways we test ideas against the real world.
Material research
Tested in the hand before the render — concrete, timber, ceramic, metal, paper. We work with the real stuff.
Computational design
Generative geometry, parametric studies, custom tooling. Code as a sketchbook for things that get built.
Built work
Small buildings, interiors, installations and exhibition design. From sketch through site to handover.
Identity & editorial
The wordmarks, type systems and publications that frame the work — designed in the same language as the things themselves.
